The Consus Group has received frequent media attention since its inception. TCG’s enormous contract library and innovative products have drawn considerable interest from numerous print and Internet sources. And our popular rankings of colleges, universities, and graduate schools are repeatedly mentioned by prominent websites. Some notable citations include:
- Business Week
- Northwestern University School of Law
- Rutgers Law Library
- University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- University of Colorado at Boulder
- Georgia State University
- Education Index
- FindLaw
- HG.org
In 2004, for example, Business Week featured The Consus Group in a question-and-answer column. In response to a reader’s question regarding distributorship rights, BW’s Smart Answers columnist suggested:
There is a California-based business research outfit, [The] Consus Group, that specializes in providing intelligence about contracts, deals, industries and companies. They have several international distributorship agreements as well as related contract agreements on their Web site that are available to purchase and download for a small fee. It would not be a bad idea for you to look at some of them and get an idea for how such deals are typically structured.
More recently, The Consus Group’s school rankings have received considerable attention. In 2006, Donald Polden — Dean of the Santa Clara University Law School — cited TCG’s law school rankings:
The Consus Group, a national organization of business and law consultants published a national ranking of law schools and ranked Santa Clara as the #64 law school in the country based on a comprehensive set of criteria.
Findlaw.com, HG.org, AveryIndex.com — prominent online legal resources — all include The Consus Group’s law school rankings on their websites. And numerous university libraries use TCG’s rankings to assist their students.
